Once again at WrestleMania, Nikolai attempts to sing the Soviet anthem, but Jim Duggan shows up in jeans, a tank top, and an American flag bandana to put a stop to that.
After the Bees enter, the heels take the fight to them straight away with a brawl. The age of Sheik and Volkoff really begins to show, as does their diminished heat by the fact that Slick is now in their corner. Duggan provides the counterbalance to Slick, but of course finds himself in the ring, and in true Duggan fashion, nails the Sheik, unprovoked, while he has Brunzell in the Camel Clutch leading to a DQ win for the heels.
A wildly forgettable, boring match capped off by Duggan getting a mic and telling the heels they should leave if they don’t want to play by the rules.
That’s right. The guy who illegally hit one of them with a 2×4 to get his team disqualified is lecturing us about the rules.
