April 1, 1990
For some reason, even in the SkyDome, Duggan sticks strictly to his USA routine against Bravo in his home country. Interestingly, the ethos of face and heel were still so strong in 1990, that the Canadian crowd still responds much more preferably to Duggan than to Bravo (though perhaps not as much as would have happened in the States).
The two plod through a largely boring match before Earthquake gets involved. He grabs Duggan’s leg and Hart tosses Duggan’s 2×4 to Bravo, but Duggan is able to get the board before Bravo can use it, and instead nails Canada’s strongest man while the ref is tied up. Duggan covers and gets three, but of course gets squashed afterward by the Earthquake Splash.
